Off n Racing was established by Andrew Fitzgerald back in 2017 to fill a “much needed gap” in the Harness Racing Market.
After working for numerous stables and operations throughout New Zealand, including a stint in Australia, Andrew felt that Harness Racing in New Zealand and Australia needed to step into the 21st century. With the use of modern technology and different platforms to not only promote the sport but promote stables and the ownership experience.
Social Media:
Nowadays, most people are within arm’s reach of a smartphone or a computer, which has seen the explosion of Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram & Twitter. The growth of these platforms has also changed the marketing capabilities of businesses throughout the world.
We saw the promotional opportunities that Stables were missing out on and quickly built our clientele base to handle a large number of Harness Racing Stables Social Media accounts.
The response so far from owners and supporters of each barn has been overwhelming. Using Facebook & Twitter, those owners and supporters can now keep up to date with runners engaged at the races, some behind the scenes footage and also share the success of horses.
Syndication:
There is no doubt that Syndication is the future of Racehorse ownership. With rising costs involved in racing, it’s harder to own a whole horse yourself. Splitting the cost between a large group not only allows more people to share in the thrill of ownership but also enables you to take multiple shares in different horses. Spreading your budget over multiple horses instead of “putting all your eggs in one basket” means your ownership journey will involve a lot more starters at the races and a lot more fun!

Off n Racing has taken over the Owner communication of several leading trainers – leaving the trainers to do what they are experts at, training horses, while we use modern technology to keep their owners in the loop and market their stables to potential new clients.
With the rapid growth of Social Media also came multiple communication platforms with PRISM leading the way as a Communication platform for Racing Stables throughout Australasia.
Gone are the days of catching up with your trainer at the races to find out how your horses are progressing. Nowadays Owners can be based anywhere in the world and receive their regular updates via their email or PRISM app on their smartphone, tablet or computer.
